How to Format an SD Card

Your Digital Photo Frame works with an SD card of 32 GB or less, formatted in FAT32. If your card is a different format or you want a clean start, here's how to format it on Windows or Mac.

Warning: Formatting an SD card erases everything on it. Back up any files you want to keep before you start.

On Windows

1. Open File Explorer.
2. Click This PC in the left sidebar.
3. Insert the SD card into your card reader.
4. Right-click the SD card and select Format.
5. Choose FAT32 as the format, name the card, then press Start.
6. Wait for it to finish, then safely remove the card.

On macOS

1. Insert the SD card into your card reader.
2. Open the Disk Utility app.
3. Select your SD card.
4. Press Erase.
5. Choose FAT32 as the format, name the card, then press Erase.
6. Wait for it to finish, then safely remove the card.

Once formatting is complete, your SD card is ready to use with your frame.
