How to Allow Access to Photos in the Frameo App

If your photos aren't showing up in the Frameo app, the fix is usually a quick permissions change in your phone's settings — the app just needs permission to reach your photo library. Follow the steps below for your device (iPhone/iPad or Android) and your photos should appear straight away.

> Note: If you're an Android user who stores photos on a micro SD card, look for the "External" option in the album drop-down menu.

On an iPhone or iPad

  1. Open Settings on your device.
  2. Scroll down and find Frameo in the list of apps.
  3. Tap Frameo, then tap Photos.
  4. Choose your access level:
  • Older iOS versions: select Read and Write
  • Newer iOS versions: select All Photos or Selected Photos
  1. Close the Frameo app completely, then reopen it for the change to take effect.

On an Android phone

  1. Open Settings on your device.
  2. Tap Apps & Notifications.
  3. Find and tap Frameo in the list of installed apps.
  4. Tap Permissions.
  5. Make sure there is a checkmark next to both Camera and Video. If either is unticked, tap it to enable it.
  6. Close the Frameo app completely, then reopen it for the change to take effect.

Once permissions are set, Frameo can access your photos and you can share them straight to your Digital Photo Frame.
