Can I Connect My Friendship Lamp to Multiple Groups?

Want one lamp to reach two different circles — say your family and your friends? Your Friendship Lamp can hold two GroupIDs at once, and you can switch between them in the app. Here's how to set that up.

Your Friendship Lamp can connect to two different GroupIDs at the same time. That means you can keep separate circles — like family and friends — on a single lamp, and toggle between the groups in the app.

Setting up your first GroupID

1. Reset the lamp to dim red. On Classic and Modern models, hold the touch pad for 3–5 minutes; on the Infinity Range, use the reset pinhole.
2. Open the LuvLink app and tap + Add Device.
3. Choose Create a new group for a fresh GroupID, or Connect to an existing group if you have one to join.

If you're joining someone else's group, the lamp glows yellow while it waits for the group admin's approval.

Adding a second GroupID

Once your lamp shows swirling green, you can add a second group:

1. Open the lamp's settings (the cog icon) in the app.
2. Go to the GroupID section under Device Information.
3. Under Second GroupID, choose to create a new group or connect to an existing one.
